Sir Terence Conran has been writing books since the 1970’s on topics from interior design, cookery, gardening, crafts and the decorative arts.

In 1984 he founded Conran Octopus with Paul Hamlyn, in order to publish a wide range of high quality books which reflect Terence’s design philosophy and style of life. Conran Octopus books combine authoritative and informed writing with cutting edge design and beautiful photography.

In addition to Terence Conran, other authors include Monty Don, Jane Packer, Diarmuid Gavin and Stephen Bayley, alongside commissioning new talent.
