The first Conran Shop opened in London in 1973 and there are now further stores in London, Paris, New York, Japan and another opening shortly in Kuala Lumpur with further franchises in Milan and Dublin.

The Conran Shop style has always been eclectic, mixing and selling antique and flea market furnishings together with the finest and latest modern designs.

The CONRAN site in The Michelin Building in Fulham Road has always been an important one for the CONRAN brand.

The site currently houses The Conran Shop flagship store, opened in 1987 and Terence's critically acclaimed Restaurant 'Bibendum', named after Michelin's rotund icon, Monsieur Bibendum, or, more commonly, 'The Michelin Man'.
